A great dog friendly walk recommendation!

At 4 miles and about 2 hours walk at a leisurely pace, this is fantastic for an afternoons walk. Anti clockwise is the best to save going down a steep hill.

For dogs who like the water as much as Enzo, then there is many great places for them to paddle and swim in the Thames!

Midway along the Thames path is a pub called the Bounty which is very dog friendly, however can get very busy on a weekend.

There is a fairly steep hill to walk up, although this can be made less steep by walking further along the Thames before cutting back in, although the views are stunning from the top!

There’s a flat walk through the Winter Hill Golf Course, however there is great visibility to be very little risk.

Parking is available at the start location, which is a National Trust car park – free for members, or currently £2 a day for non-members.
